Maybe. For those of you poor souls unfortunate enough to live in Texas…if they ever secede from the union, of course.
Yes, Chuck Norris has declared, on the well-respected far-right-wing-nutjob internet rag World Net Daily, that he would be open to becoming the President of Texas, should it ever secede from the rest of the USA. The oft-internet-memed former actor and martial artist even went a step further, stating that this horrific vision of the future may, “be a reality sooner than we think.”
I say, good riddance. To both Texas and Chuck Norris. You guys just make sure to leave when Bush is in the state, okay? We can make it a three-fer. Shit, if you take Matthew McConaughy, too, we’ll even give you Arkansas.
So, in closing; Texas threatening to secede? Not that much of a threat. To be honest, the rest of us were getting tired of you, anyway. Chuck Norris threatening to leave, too? Well, let’s just say that it’s not exactly a roundhouse kick to the face.
