World, daughter. Daughter, world.
Proving that just anyone can be a parent, this is a picture of my new daughter, Izabel. This picture was taken roughly one minute into her life. I don’t know what it is she’s thinking here, but my best guess is “What in the hell just happened?”
Speaking of “what in the hell just happened,” I experienced live child birth for myself, and my one question is this: Why didn’t anyone warn me? Hgggh.
So baby tips the scales at 8 pounds, 9 ounces, and measures at 21 inches long. Which means she already has bigger hands than her old man. I don’t mind though. I think it’ll be good for my character getting beaten up by child on a regular basis. Might help give me some humility.
Anyway, just wanted to share my new contribution to the species. I think she’s gonna fit in just fine. Expect more pictures in the future. If I had known I’d had the capacity for children this cute, I would’ve surely had one sooner.
