Shameless Promotion

Ever since I was informed that I was chosen to contribute my talents to Sodblog, I’ve been trying to get the word out. After all, this is the internet and there’s lots of things to do here, roughly 25-30% of which do not involve the words “hot,” “asian,” and “co-eds.”

In order to capture a sizable amount of that viewer ship, I’ve resorted to varying degrees of humiliation and promotion. Of course, I’ve sent out e-mails to my friends telling them to visit the site, posted on my own blog about my involvement here at Sod and informed every IM Buddy I have to head on over to Sod. But there is more than one way to skin a cat…

Just yesterday, I took a page from just about every pizza place/sub shop/cell phone kiosk and stood out on a busy intersection dressed in an embarrassing (and hot) costume to promote my product. At first, this proved to be fairly difficult, since I wasn’t exactly sure what I should dress as, being that we’re a blog and not a Papa Johns. Eventually, I decided to go the literal route and draped chunks of sod over my body. It seemed to increase the amount of cars turning into the lawn and gardening business up the street, for some reason, but I have yet to see it’s full effects on the blog here. I’m sure it’s only a matter of time.
