Awesome rant! Let me add a few things. Liberal democrats telling off the hard-working people and catering straight to people like illegal immigrants that have no right be here. Emos and their uninterested attitudes in life. They walk around, thinking they are also better than anyone else. Big city mayors and their schemes to reduce the middle class and only make areas appealing to the rich and the poor. Anyone that is/was affiliated with American Idol because they are complete and total, smartass, retarded punks. What about this, Hispanic and Latin people’s reliance on religion to give their people whatever they want while the middle class is still reeling from Bush and Obama’s economic failures. I will never go with any Hispanic or Latin person to a church, ever. Sometimes, it pays to be a racist prick. There’s always the possibility of getting arrested for doing something wrong like drugs.

I’m not sure if it’s just me or not, but what gets me is that the people that I have had the “pleasure” of talking to that plastered their car with religious stickers were almost always the rudest people I have ever encountered. You’d figure these people would be “Christian like”, but nope, it never fails they are first ones to scowl and to be downright rude…go figure…

Eh, the Blue Collar Comedy never bothered me too much, because they are least making people laugh legally and making some money off of making fun of themselves instead of sitting around drinking Bud Light and listening to John Cougar 8 tracks all day long. But the Nascar thing I will never ever get. I really think it’s more about getting together and having a drunk fest more so than watching the cars go round and round and round.

Wow I think I’m in love with the Admin… *blushing* I hate all those as well… well minus the tomatoes I think. But I will add to the list I hate assumptions. I hate when people assume I am of a certain race.. next time ask please. I hate when people assume I’m a single mom and they give me this sort of head lean to the side and nod as if I had just lost a loved one! I mean I am… but don’t assume or maybe it’s the assumption I’m sad that pisses me of… hmmm. Assumptions, that’s what I hate.

Respect the fact that you can make a list of things you hate. Do not understand why people mix religion with the picture showed, as this is not a statement of religion but of belief in the bible. Which are two very different things. It is great to live in a place where we can state our believes without feeling like we owe others something for doing it.

First of all, I disagree with you on the “people need religion to cope with the fact that there are some things in this universe that can’t be explained”. People really just need faith to do that. I think religion, generally, just brings about conflicts. And about the cars with blaring posters on “heaven or hell”, they seem so outrageous. Why can’t people keep their “religious issues” with themselves?

I can definitely relate to some of what you’ve posted. There’s are several people in the office where I work who love NASCAR. I ask them to explain it to me and they cannot. Then I throw the old joke about how to escape when being chased by a NASCAR driver? Make a right turn! For some reason they don’t appreciate the humor. Not sure why. And rednecks are always fun to pick on. And as annoying as the other topics are, isn’t it great that we live in a free society where people, including you and I, can express our thoughts without fear of persecution? Mockery, maybe, but persecution from the government, nah.

There’s no hate; just moderate-to-extreme annoyance. I don’t tell others what to think or how to spend their time, but I am entitled to my opinion, just like you are entitled to yours.

You think my comments are a reflection of ignorance on my part, but I come from religious and rednecked roots. I fully understand the mentality and lifestyle, but have evolved my thinking. Ignorance to me is watching cars drive in circles or praying to make-believe super-beings, but if that’s what gets your motor turning, go right ahead. Just be aware that there is a silent minority mocking your unenlightened existence.

So I say live and let die… and if being right makes me ‘look bad,’ then I don’t wanna look good.

Live and let live. Don’t hate. It only hurts you and makes you look bad. We all have qualms but what good does it do to gripe about superficial ones. If a person wants to believe in something that makes them feel good or gets enjoyment from watching what we may think of as a pointless non-sport let them use such vices without being ignorant to them. Being so judgmental only hurts you.
