It indeed is a very insightful post Aaron. Trying to get rid of those annoying little things flying over and around you truly is disparaging. And when you fail to achieve your goal, it just cannot get worse! I couldn't have explained the scenario any better. Kudos!

attagirl, thanks for the response, as always. Your question presupposes the linear, and hence teleological, and hence prophetic: start, middle, and beyond the present (the future) to an ultimatum, or end. Perhaps humans are best at sorting through the secular chaos that is the universe. For example, we -- in the broad Humanity sense -- may have to deal with the following, and while some would try to pray it out of existence, I'd rather back NASA in their attempts to try to figure out a way to prevent it. Click here to check out this Atlantic Monthly link that better explains the random chaos that is the universe.

Question Aaron, where does this fall in line with some higher being existing? Do you not think that all things could or would be created. Do they just appear out of now where? I too would like to know some of the answers that you have asked in your post, but would like to ultimately know how it would relate to my first question.

attagirl, thanks for the follow. In addition to flies, the pests that are mosquitos and ticks are another one of the arguments against the idea that some higher being exists: beyond spreading lyme disease, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever and malaria, what are they good for? Why do they exist? Not even the late Andrew Spielman, arguably the most formidable mosquito expert Western Civilization has ever produced, could articulate it in a convincing manner.

This is a very interesting post and why I am even responding to it is beyond me. I think Flies are the most annoying little creatures and I really hate trying to kill them because you exert all that energy just for them to get away.
